Brewer’s yeast for hair

Beer has been known since very ancient times not only as a drink for gatherings with a cheerful company, but also as the owner of healing properties. Of course, store-bought beer has no properties other than intoxicating. In turn, natural beer, made entirely from natural ingredients, is very useful for both external and internal use.

Unfortunately, the process of making beer is complicated and not suitable for our life in perpetual motion. Therefore, consider one of the components of this healing agent, namely brewer’s yeast.

In our advanced age, brewer’s yeast can be purchased in any form convenient for you and in any pharmacy. Yeast is also sold with additives such as selenium, vitamin E, wheat extract, zinc, iron, etc. Taking them orally, you enrich the body with protein, which is a building material for hair, which leads to an increase in their growth and B vitamins. But this method of use is not suitable for people who are predisposed to fullness, since yeast stimulates appetite and you can gain a couple kilogram.

Vitamins and amino acids contained in yeast are absorbed by the body, thereby strengthening hair and nails, as well as improving skin condition. As for hair, yeast can be used both to treat and restore damaged and brittle hair, and to treat scalp diseases such as dandruff, allergic reactions and irritated skin, and, of course, just for prevention and general health improvement.

We always want to look beautiful and attractive because of which our hair suffers. We constantly wash them, dry them with a hairdryer, straighten, curl, dye and recolor, and, of course, this greatly affects the quality of the hair, they often cannot withstand such a load. The use of vitamins and nutritional supplements, coupled with expensive shampoos, does not always give the desired result, so it is worth enriching the hair not only internally, but also externally, in the form of masks that are easy to prepare at home.

For home masks, either live yeast is used (these are those that are sold in briquettes) or dry (powdered). 1 teaspoon of dry yeast is approximately equal to 8-9 grams of live yeast. It is better to take more dishes for yeast masks, as the volume of the mask increases due to the fermentation process.

Masks with brewer’s yeast for hair

And yes, masks. Any yeast mask nourishes and strengthens the hair, but combining yeast with certain ingredients can solve other hair problems.
The number of ingredients can be increased or decreased, depending on the length of the hair (but, of course, in proportion). At the end of the procedure, do not forget to thoroughly rinse your hair!

For hair growth

You will need:

  • 1 medium head of onion,
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon castor oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon burdock oil and a little salt.

We mix the yeast in about one glass of warm water, squeeze the juice from the onion and add it to the yeast. To enhance the effect of the oil, heat it up a little and add to the onion and yeast. We mix everything well, apply it on the scalp and rub the mixture with massage movements, distribute the rest of the mixture along the entire length, wrap the head with polyethylene and hold for 30-40 minutes.

Anti-dandruff

You will need: yeast and kefir.

We mix yeast and kefir in a ratio of 1:10 and leave until the fermentation process begins. Apply, wrap with polyethylene for half an hour, rinse.

Against hair loss

For this mask, we need a tincture of red pepper. You can either buy it or make your own. To do this, mix 1-2 finely chopped red pepper pods with 150-200 ml of alcohol or vodka, you need to insist it in a dark place. After 7 days, the pepper is ready.

For the mask you will need: 10 g of yeast, 1 tablespoon of tincture, 1 tablespoon of boiled water at room temperature.

First, mix the tincture and water, then add the yeast, apply to the hair and scalp for 25 minutes, rinse.

But with this mask you need to be careful because of the pepper tincture contained in it. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If a strong burning sensation begins after applying the mask, and 25 minutes have not passed yet, then wash off the mask.

Mask with brewer’s yeast to strengthen weak and thin hair

You will need:

  • 20 gr yeast
  • milk,
  • 1 yolk,
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Mix the yeast with warm milk, put in a warm place until fermentation begins. Add yolk and oil, mix until smooth, apply to hair, wrap with polyethylene for 40-50 minutes, rinse.

For damaged and dry hair

You will need:

  • 10 gr yeast
  • 2 tablespoons of warm water,
  • 1 teaspoon honey.

Mix everything, leave in a warm place until fermentation begins, apply to hair, wrap with polyethylene and a towel for 40-50 minutes, then rinse with water.

For preventive purposes, such masks should be used once every 7 days for 10-15 weeks. But for the treatment of hair, the mask should be done 2 times a week for 7-9 weeks. As after a course of preventive measures, so after a course of treatment with yeast masks, you need to take a break of 2-3 months. After their expiration, if necessary, repeat the course.

And of course, after applying the mask, do not forget to wrap your head with polyethylene (you can just put on a plastic bag) and to keep warm and improve the functioning of the yeast, also wrap your head with a towel on top.
