Indications for use and properties

This drug is intended for the local treatment of bacterial, trichomonas vaginitis, candidiasis and other sexually transmitted infections. The composition of the suppository includes miconazole and metronidazole – active substances that fight viruses. They have an antifungal, antibacterial and antitrichomonas effect. Active substances have a wide spectrum of action, kill pathogenic fungi, anaerobic bacteria, including gardnerella and streptococci. One pack of Limenda suppositories contains seven or fourteen vaginal suppositories, which are in one blister with disposable fingertips.

How to use candles

Before using candles, you should carry out a hygiene procedure, wash your hands and genitals with warm boiled water. It is better to administer the suppository at night, so the drug will not leak out of the vagina and produce the necessary therapeutic effect. The course of treatment is 7 days. A candle is inserted deep into the vagina. To do this, you must first put on a disposable fingertip. During treatment, you can not have sex.
