Dairy diet: friend or foe of excess weight?

In recent years, scientists have subjected milk to enormous criticism. It is said that the content of calcium in it is exaggerated. Someone says that teeth turn yellow from it, someone that it reduces immunity. But nutritionists still leave milk on the list of the most useful foods, because the calcium it contains is very well absorbed by the body. Milk is also rich in vitamins. It contains riboflavin (vitamin B2), which provides a complete energy metabolism in the body. And only this vitamin has a very useful property. Riboflavin converts carbohydrates and fats into energy.

In 1887, Anton Pavlovich Chekhov wrote to N.A. Leikin, that from large bellies he uses the so-called milk diet, according to which a person does not eat anything, and satisfies the feeling of hunger with half a glass of milk.

Fruit and milk

If you follow the diet, you can lose 5 kg in a week. This diet is strict but very easy to tolerate. Each meal is approximately 2.5-3 hours apart.

  • Breakfast: coffee with milk or tea (without sugar).
  • Lunch: 150 – 200 g of cottage cheese.
  • Lunch: 200 g of fruit of your choice.
  • Snack: 1 glass of 1% kefir, fermented baked milk or curdled milk, natural yogurt.
  • Dinner – 150 – 200 g of fruit to your taste.

During the day, it is advisable to eat clean water, coffee or tea.

“Striped” kefir diet

There is another, so-called “striped” kefir diet. You can follow this diet for a very long time. Its essence is that you need to alternate products. That is, one day – kefir with a fat content of 1% in any quantity + drinking water, the second day – the usual (rational) diet. You can lose weight by 5 kg in 7 days, but this does not mean that after a diet you should immediately pounce on food. It is recommended not to exclude kefir and milk from the diet.

  • in the morning – natural yogurt or kefir;
  • cottage cheese casserole with fruit;
  • in the evening – kefir or fermented baked milk.

The healthiest and safest type of dairy diet is to stick to a diet only on weekends, on such days there is less stress on the body, and on ordinary days, follow a balanced diet. Note that if you choose a “weekend” diet, then you need to drink a glass of milk every 2.5-3 hours.

Do not forget that adherence to dairy diets is obsessed with only one cow’s milk, you can also use goat’s milk, which is a carrier of tuberculosis to a lesser extent. For best results, natural milk should be used.

Dairy diets have their advantages:

  • healing and cleansing of the body;
  • normalization of the work of important organs, such as the kidneys, liver and gastrointestinal tract;
  • great way to lose weight.
  • contraindicated only in patients with gastric ulcer and gastritis. For everyone else, it will even be useful.

A milk diet is contraindicated in children and those who are lactose intolerant. You can strictly adhere to it for only five days, no more. You will ask why?” Because a strict dairy diet excludes all types of products from the diet except milk.
