Diet by blood group

Fashion at all times dictates its requirements for the parameters of the human body. We happened to live in an era when thinness and ideal proportions are valued. And millions of women (and often men) are looking for effective ways to lose weight. They adhere to severe food restrictions, exhaust themselves with heavy physical exertion, take dubious “miracle pills”, and the result does not always correspond to the forces expended on it.

Having tried various ways to lose weight, many prefer a diet based on blood type. Its huge advantage over all other diets is that there is no need to count calories and adhere to restrictions on the amount of food eaten. The basis of such a diet is a fairly simple principle – a person of a certain blood type should eat the foods that people ate at the time of the appearance of this blood. The idea was drawn from the hypothesis of the American naturopathic doctor Peter D’Adamo about the fundamental relationship between blood type and diet.

The effect of weight loss in this case is achieved by improving the work of the cleansing and excretory systems of the body, accelerating the metabolic process, removing unnecessary toxins and excess fat.

As you know, there are four types of human blood. All of them originated in different eras – when the way of life of a person changed significantly, and, therefore, his diet.

The appearance of the first blood type fell on a period when people got their food by hunting and fishing. Accordingly, for its carriers, first of all, it is recommended to consume red meat (with the exception of pork), liver, and fish. Also, iodine-containing foods (greens, iodized salt, seafood) are very useful for them. Of the cereals, preference should be given to buckwheat, the use of the rest (especially wheat and oatmeal) is better to limit. Recommended drinks are herbal teas, green tea, seltzer, beer, wine (white and red). Owners of the first blood group must completely exclude coffee, fresh cabbage, corn and all products from it, potatoes, marinades, citrus fruits, ketchup, sugar, yeast from their diet.

The second blood group originated when people switched to a sedentary lifestyle, mastered agriculture, and plant food appeared in their diet. In owners of such blood, meat slows down metabolic processes, and the digestive and immune systems work perfectly only if a vegetarian diet is followed. They can eat dairy products, eggs, soy products, vegetable oil, legumes, cereals. It is worth reducing the consumption of chocolate and sugar, and spicy and salty foods, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, potatoes should be completely excluded.

The third blood group was formed in the era of active population migration. At the same time, man tamed domestic animals, so milk appeared in his diet. The owners of such blood are omnivorous, they are recommended a balanced diet. The most useful for them are meat (except duck and chicken), eggs, dairy products, legumes, cereals (except wheat and buckwheat), vegetables. Of the drinks, it is preferable to use green and herbal tea, grape, pineapple and cranberry juices. In small quantities, you can drink wine, beer, black tea, coffee, citrus juices. People with the third blood type should exclude seafood, chicken, pork, peanuts, buckwheat, corn, soda drinks, tomato juice.

The youngest is the fourth blood group, its appearance took place at the end of the migration period. It is formed by mixing the second and third groups, so the owners of such blood are shown a moderately mixed diet. Good foods for them include meat, dairy products, fish, olive oil, walnuts and peanuts, vegetables (except corn, peppers and black olives), fruits. From drinks, preference should be given to green tea, coffee, tea from rose hips, hawthorn, chamomile. You should exclude the consumption of seafood, red meat, bacon, ham, buckwheat, sunflower seeds, corn, wheat.

In conclusion, it should be noted that the effect of a blood type diet is not achieved in a short period, and if you want to lose weight for a certain solemn event or, say, the beach season, you should not count on her lightning-fast help. Such a diet is, rather, the right style of eating, suitable for a particular person. Its benefit lies not so much in weight loss, but in the improvement of the body as a whole – it is able to improve the immune system, improve metabolic processes, and even eliminate the manifestations of allergies.
