Drink and lose weight or what is a drinking diet

The description of almost every diet begins with a phrase about what you can eat, at what time and in what quantities. In a drinking diet, everything is much simpler – you can’t eat anything! But you can drink everything and in any quantity.

The drinking diet is based on the exclusion from the diet of any hard food. You give your stomach a vacation, for 30 days only liquid will be digested. The main results achieved upon completion of the diet will be the cleansing of the body, reduction in volume, parting with extra pounds, reducing food intake after leaving the diet.

The diet lasts 30 days. During this time, your body goes through three stages of cleansing, each of which lasts 10 days:

  • Stage 1 – cleansing of hollow organs (intestines, stomach, gallbladder, bladder)
  • Stage 2 – cleansing of dense organs (liver, kidneys, heart)
  • Stage 3 – cleansing at the cellular level.

What problems can you face when starting this diet?

At first, you will experience psychological discomfort due to the lack of chewing process. But in most cases, we just get better because of small snacks during the day, wanting something to chew on at the slightest stress or boredom. At this stage, a positive attitude and engaging in some distracting activities (walking, a forgotten hobby, reading books) will help you.

At the second stage, when the heart, kidneys, liver begin to be cleansed, you may experience discomfort at the physical level, soreness of the internal organs may appear. The main thing here is to listen carefully to your body, if the discomfort does not go away, then you should stop the diet. By the end of the first week, you will feel light, there will be a surge of energy that will be released from the digestion of heavy food.

The main thing you need to understand is not fasting! Don’t limit yourself to water alone. You can drink tea (black, green, red, herbal), coffee, cocoa, vegetable and chicken broths, dairy and sour-milk products, fruit and vegetable juices, mineral water. All this can be used without restrictions.

You can combine the juices of various fruits and vegetables, create your own beauty cocktails. It is advisable to use juices freshly prepared (except for beetroot, it should be allowed to stand in the refrigerator for half an hour). You can use ginger and cinnamon for a spicy flavor. Allowed fermented milk products will also prevent you from feeling hungry, as they perfectly satisfy hunger.

If you decide to follow this diet, you need to remember a few simple rules to follow:

  • drink at least 1.5 liters of pure water daily;
  • monitor the chair – it should be daily;
  • do not drink alcohol and carbonated drinks;
  • take multivitamins.

The diet is suitable only for people who do not have health problems (contraindications are heart and kidney disease, hypertension, a tendency to edema). If you have any doubts about your health, you should first consult with your doctor. In case of poor health, weakness and dizziness, you should stop adhering to this diet.

Exit from the diet should be gradual. Start with vegetable puree soups, soft fruits, remember that a single serving in the early days should not be larger than a small saucer. It is difficult for some to maintain the achieved result due to malnutrition after the diet, but this is more important than just sticking to the diet itself.
