The mammary glands are composed of connective, glandular and adipose tissue. With the help of connective tissue strands (Cooper’s ligaments), they are attached to the pectoralis major muscles. The body of the gland is a collection of two dozen lobules, which are separated by connective tissue. Their tops are facing the nipple, each lobule has a milk duct.
During the menstrual cycle, cyclical changes occur in the mammary glands. Before ovulation, when the estrogen content is maximum, the amount of epithelial tissue of the lobules and milk ducts increases. There is an increase in the volume of the gland due to increased blood supply and edema. Women feel a feeling of tightness and engorgement, as well as increased sensitivity of the mammary glands. If pregnancy does not occur, all processes undergo regression.
The size of the breast is influenced by the content of estrogen in the body, the flow of blood during intercourse and the content of adipose tissue in the glands. If you gain an extra 10 kg of weight, you can increase your breasts by one size. Conversely, weight loss promotes sagging and reduced breast size.
Estrogens for breast enlargement. To date, there are many creams for breast enlargement, which include estrogens. Manufacturers, most often, add nonsteroidal hormones to creams, and phytoestrogens. They are obtained from plants – soybeans, cereals and legumes.
In their composition, they are similar to estradiol and are able to bind to its receptors, but their action is expressed hundreds of times weaker than steroids. In the mammary gland, phytoestrogens have a proliferative effect, increasing its blood supply and increasing its mass by increasing the amount of epithelial tissue.
Topical application of creams is convenient because phytoestrogens do not have a general hormonal effect on the body, in particular, they do not increase body weight. Substances that improve blood microcirculation in the gland tissue are added to some creams, in combination with phytoestrogens, this enhances the effect. Such creams are able to increase breast volume up to 1 cm per month (in circumference).
Tablet forms of estrogen are prescribed by a doctor. The indications are hormonal disorders – insufficient production of estrogens and the associated underdevelopment of the mammary glands.
It is strictly contraindicated to take steroid drugs for breast enlargement on your own. In addition to a serious violation of the hormonal balance in the body, their uncontrolled intake can provoke active proliferative processes in the gland tissue and genital organs. As a result, there is a risk of neoplasms, including malignant ones. Therefore, to avoid negative consequences, it is worth contacting a gynecologist-endocrinologist.
The doctor will prescribe examinations of hormone levels at different periods of the menstrual cycle and, depending on the results, will prescribe the appropriate hormone therapy. Only such a reasonable method can increase the breast without the risk of complications.
