Folk remedies for hair loss
In fact, in every home there are products with which you can improve your hair. These are milk, kefir, onions, eggs, cognac, bread, yeast, etc. Oils, especially olive, burdock, castor, play an invaluable role in hair care. Consider a few examples of masks, decoctions against hair loss, which can be easily prepared at home using well-known and publicly available ingredients.
Onion
The onion mask is very effective and can stop even severe hair loss in a short time. The active substances of the onion irritate the scalp, due to which the hair stops falling out, begins to grow faster and even dandruff disappears. There are countless variations of onion masks; almost any ingredient can be added to it.
The easiest way is to rub freshly squeezed onion juice into the hair roots. Then cover the head with a film and wrap in a warm towel, hold for at least 2 hours, rinse with shampoo.
Onion masks should be done for 2 months, preferably every other day.
Along with the effectiveness of this mask, there is one significant drawback. The fact is that onion ambre is persistently eaten into the hair, especially if they are badly damaged.
To beat off the aroma of onions, when rinsing, add lemon juice or lemon essential oil (5-10 drops per liter of water), vinegar (2 tablespoons per 1 liter of water) into the water. In general, it is good to add essential oils directly to the mask from the smell (no more than 5 drops). Masks of colorless henna, honey, kefir also help to kill the unpleasant onion smell.
Burdock root
The easiest to prepare is a decoction of burdock: add 1 tablespoon of chopped root to a glass of water and boil for 10-15 minutes. Then strain, cool and rinse your head with it after washing or rub it into the hair roots. Also, in addition to burdock, you can add dried calendula flowers to the broth (for 1 part of the root, 2 parts of the inflorescences), calamus root (in a 1: 1 ratio), nettle (in an arbitrary ratio), cognac (4 spoons of root for 1 spoon of cognac).
Burdock root ointment is prepared using the same technology as the decoction. Just cook until the volume is reduced by half. Then fat is added to the still hot broth, in a ratio of 1: 1, mixed and put in the oven for 2 hours. The ointment should be rubbed into the scalp before washing.
Everyone knows that the basis of burdock oil is burdock root. Therefore, you can cook it yourself at home. To do this, 100 grams of dried chopped rhizome should be soaked in 1 glass of olive oil (vegetable, linseed) and left for a day in a warm place. Then put on a slow fire for 3 hours. Then use the finished oil for its intended purpose.
According to its properties, burdock is no less effective than onions. It is best to use a root dug in spring or autumn. Burdock procedures should be applied 2-3 times a week for at least 2 months.
Pepper masks
- Chili pepper pour vodka and leave for 7-10 days. Rub into the roots of the hair, then cover the head with cellophane and wrap with a warm towel. Keep for 20 minutes, then rinse with shampoo.
