Hair loss is a problem faced by almost every modern woman. Anything can be the cause of hair loss: ecology, stress, malnutrition, illness. However, the worst thing is that hair falls out quickly and in fairly large quantities, but grows back very slowly. To accelerate hair growth, you can use tinctures and hair masks. Now there is a huge number of both ready-made masks and tinctures, as well as recipes for preparing them at home. They differ in composition and properties. The simplest and most effective of them is pepper tincture.
The fact is that with hair loss, the hair follicle remains undamaged. Therefore, the hair is able to grow back, but over time. Using pepper tincture will greatly speed up this process.
Impact
Any alcohol-containing solution has a warming property, pepper enhances its properties and, when it gets on the scalp, causes a rush of blood to the scalp. In turn, the rush of blood activates the hair follicles, causing the hair to grow faster.
But keep in mind that alcohol tincture should only be used for hair roots! Otherwise, the hair will become brittle and fairly excised. Also, you should not get carried away with this type of tincture. You can not use it more than 1-2 times a week due to the possibility of overdrying the scalp.
cooking recipes
Of course, you can not worry much and buy ready-made pepper tincture in a pharmacy. It consists of hot pepper infused with alcohol, which is then filtered. A 70-90% alcohol solution and chopped pepper are taken. But if you want to try your hand at making tinctures, you can make it yourself. For this you will need:
- 100 ml of alcohol or vodka. The difference in these materials is small, just the alcohol infusion is more concentrated. But it is difficult for an ordinary person to buy alcohol, since in a pharmacy it is sold only by prescription. So you can safely take the usual 40-degree vodka, only of good quality.
- Medium sized fresh chili pepper. It needs to be finely chopped. If there is none, then you can use dry pepper and even ground. When using ground pepper, the same amount of vodka needs about a teaspoon of powder.
Chopped peppers are poured with vodka (well, or alcohol, if any). Insist on average 2-3 weeks. In case of urgent need, it can be used after only seven days. It is necessary to insist in a dark and cool place. Dark and cool, but not in the refrigerator! A place in any kitchen cabinet is suitable for this, best of all in the lower drawers. For example, under the sink, where the curious look the least (especially if you have children).
Instead of alcohol or vodka, you can use vegetable, burdock or olive oil. The recipe is the same as the previous recipe. However, such a recipe will be the most gentle, but less effective.
Use of tincture
Pepper tincture is used as a mask. The easiest method is to dilute the tincture with water, oil or kefir, depending on the type of hair. Also, if desired, you can add a few drops of any cosmetic oil, yeast and chicken eggs to the mask.
For oily hair.
The scalp is also prone to oiliness, and alcohol tincture will help regulate the sebaceous glands. To do this, dilute pepper tincture with water or kefir at a ratio of 1: 1 for the first time. Kefir is able to accelerate hair growth, and also softens the effect of pepper tincture. Water can also be replaced with a decoction of herbs of your choice (for example, nettle or chamomile).
Apply this mixture to the scalp with a brush or swab. Wrap your head with polyethylene and warm with a towel or terry hat. Keep on hair for half an hour.
The maximum time is not limited, it all depends on your sensitivity. Effect – you should feel a burning sensation, but not strong. If you have increased sensitivity, then dilute the tincture in a ratio of 1: 2 (more water or kefir). If you don’t feel any sting at all, dilute it 2:1 (more tincture) When finished, shampoo your hair in warm but not hot water.
For hair prone to dryness.
Alcohol tincture can dry out an already dry scalp. Therefore, dilute the tincture with oil. For these purposes, burdock oil is best suited. Burdock oil in itself has a very positive effect on hair follicles, and when mixed with pepper tincture, the effect is simply wonderful. But you can use any other: olive, linseed and even sunflower. You need to dilute pepper tincture in the same way as with water, just replace the water with oil.
Of course, for this type of hair, you can use pepper tincture in oil, then you should not dilute it.
The method of application and the exposure time on the hair is the same as described above. When finished, rinse hair with shampoo and hot water.
For normal hair type.
For this type of hair, you can use any of the above methods. Everything depends on your desire.
For colored hair.
Do not forget that almost all alcohol tinctures can affect the chemical composition of hair dye, or rather the coloring pigment. In order to avoid damage to hair color, a simple condition must be observed. For this type of hair, it is necessary to use a mask no earlier than a week after dyeing.
Also for colored hair, you can use decoctions of herbs, depending on the color of the hair. For example, a decoction of chamomile is suitable for fair hair. For brown and red hair, a decoction of onion peel is suitable. Nettle decoction is suitable for hair of any color.
Thus, the composition of the mask can be varied and selected for each individual. Try and experiment!
